At Zixty we use the DVLA provided emissions data in relation to the vehicle you have insured as our emissions level for carbon offset calculations.
We then use the Zixty Miles part of the app to measure the miles travelled and calculate the Eco trip score based on your driving. Yes, taking out a Zixty policy will enable you to demonstrate that you have a valid insurance policy in place when taxing your vehicle and whilst you get a longer term insurance policy in place.
